Why oh why do councils think it is acceptable to only collect bins once every fortnight?
I took some bags to the tip today - it hasn't been hot weather at all, but already the maggots are active.
God help us if we do get any hot weather!
The infestation of flies, maggots and possibly rats when the hot weather kicks in - surely its a health risk. Council's suggest that cities always have rat problems. Maybe so, but wy encourage it by having rubbish all over our streets. What do we pay council tax for?
PS - I hope we do get hot weather though
