OK, so the beauty of affiliate schemes are they open the doors for small(er) publishers with niche offers to advertise and in turn monetise their web presence. Many people with blogs do it, but for me, that isn't really what a blog is about.
The best example of an affiliate doing something better is quidco. Go to http://www.quidco.com they pay you money for doing the things you may well have been doing anyway. For example they pay you to bid or list on eBay. They also pay you for taking out home insurance. To really make money on here, buy home and cotents seperately. You then get two lots of cashback.
There are others such as greasy palm, but quidco does it for me.
Martin Lewes is popularised with appearances on Jo Wiley show on BBC Radio 1 and on GMTV. He comes up with lots of tips for helpign get yourself out of debt, but best of all, he looks ino the marketing offers out there and tells you how you can make the most of them. I got a free Sony Walkman MP3 player thanks to Martin. His site (I think) is http://www.moneysavingexpert.com
By the way none of these are paid for links, so don't think I have double standards here
